Dinner Dash

Synopsis:

A young girl discovers the difficulties of working but is challenged by a hostile individual. When an elderly man decides to complicate her teenage life just a little bit more.

Characters:

Natalie:

Natalie is an inquisitive girl that enjoys sharing her time and energy with others. However, due to her pent-up energy, she’s able to overwhelm guests easily. Likewise, her bright smile and fiery red hair add a charm that becomes inviting and cheerful.

Mr. Piper:

Mr. Piper is a very interesting elderly man who doesn’t seem to care for a great deal of action in his life currently. Having been a journalist before his retirement, he now spends most of his time making clocks, reading the newspaper, and practicing on his woodwork.

These were some of the references gathered to create Mr. Piper and his overall look and personality.

Mable:

Mable is Natalie’s Welsh Corgi and adores her master. She’s very intuitive, caring, and obedient. She’s also based on my very own corgi, Minnie.

World and Research:

Natalie's world takes place mostly at David's Dinner, an old-fashioned 50's restaurant. However, a lot of inspiration was drawn from Savannah, Georgia for reference.
